Ingredients

Easy Collard Greens

  • 8 oz fresh collard greens
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 2 cloves garlic minced
  • Pinch of salt
  • Pinch of red pepper flakes
  • Lemon juice to serve

Instructions

  • Cut the thick ribs out of each collard green, then slice each of them thinly.
  • Place a large pan over medium-high heat and add the olive oil. Once warm, add the collard greens and cook them for a few minutes, stirring occasionally.
  • Add the garlic, salt and red pepper flakes and stir to combine. Cook for one more minute, then remove the pan from the heat.
  • Serve warm or let cool and store in a container. Sprinkle with lemon juice and enjoy!
